
French Star player Kylian Mbappe scored his 16th LaLiga goal as Real Madrid pegged Atletico Madrid back to earn a draw at the Santiago Bernabeu. Mbappe scored from close range in the second half, cancelling out Julian Alvarez’s first-half goal from the penalty spot. Los Blancos lead their local rivals by a single point, with Barcelona, third, given the chance to cut the gap on the top two when they face Sevilla on Sunday. Alvarez beat Thibaut Courtois from the spot with a panenka, only for Mbappe to equalise five minutes after the break. Real Madrid dominated after hitting back, but Jan Oblak kept them at bay to earn Atletico a point in the title race.
