Deva Box Office Collection Day 3 (Morning Show Occupancy): Shahid Kapoor has captivated audiences with his dynamic portrayal of Dev Ambre, a hot-headed police officer, in his latest film, Deva. This crime action thriller, launched at the end of January, stands as Shahid’s inaugural offering for the year and is swiftly becoming one of 2025’s eagerly awaited films. Alongside him, Pooja Hegde and Pavail Gulati deliver compelling performances, contributing to the movie’s appeal. The chemistry between Shahid and Pooja, a fresh pairing, has particularly caught the audience’s attention, sparking interest in how the film will fare financially.
However, On Saturday, the action thriller recorded an India nett collection of Rs 6.42 crore, marking a 16.73 per cent increase from its release-day earnings of Rs 5.5 crore, taking its domestic total to Rs 11.92 crore, according to early estimates by industry tracker Sacnilk. However, during the day, production house Zee Studios stated that the film’s first-day nett box office collection (NBOC) stood at Rs 5.78 crore and with a domestic gross box office collection (GBOC) of Rs 6.82 crore and an overseas GBOC of Rs 3.49 crore, Deva had surpassed the Rs 10.30 crore global gross mark on its opening day.
According to industry tracker Scinailk, the box office collection for Deva across all languages in India for its first three days is as follows: On Day 1 (Friday), the film earned Rs 5.50 crore. On Day 2 (Saturday), the collection saw a slight increase, reaching Rs 6.42 crore. However, on Day 3 (Sunday), the movie earned Rs 0.11 crore so far, bringing its total India net collection to Rs 12.03 crore.
In the film, Shahid essays the role of ACP Dev Ambre while Pooja is a journalist. It is an adaptation of Rosshan Andrrews’ 2013 film Mumbai Police starring Prithviraj Sukumaran. But he made changes to the Hindi version, especially the climax. Hence Deva was not able to leave the same impact as the Malayalam film. Interestingly, Deva is expected to land on Netflix once its theatrical run ends. However The picture also stars Pravessh Rana, Pavail Gulatie, and Kubbra Sait in key roles .
After Deva their is a another picture in which shahid is staring alongwith Tripti Dimri. The next movie is vishal Bhardwaj untitled next.It will hit the theatres on December 5, 2025. In January this year, the team started shooting for the film. Shahid also has Ashwatthama: The Saga Continues. But as of now, the film is on hold due to budget constraints and logistical challenges.
